After 23 years, Andy retired from BlackRock, Inc as a managing director and currently devotes his time to lacrosse and his church.
He is the President of the Cornell Lacrosse Association, and a member of the executive committee of The Tewaaraton Foundation, a nonprofit focused on recognizing outstanding college lacrosse players and honoring the sport’s Native American history by incorporating elements into the game and by providing educational scholarships to that community.
In addition, he chairs the investment advisory committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island.
At BlackRock, Andy served as co-head of US Fixed Income within the company’s Fixed Income Portfolio Management Group and as a member of its Leadership Committee. He was responsible for the consistent implementation of investment strategies across all total return accounts and also co-managed The BlackRock Income Trust, Inc.
He and his wife, Elaine Reidman Phillips, have three daughters: Kate, Hannah, and Sarah.
