Biography:
Joseph Phillips is a Ph.D. candidate in political science at Pennsylvania State University. He works on managing the Mood of the Nation Poll’s data as it comes in each wave as well as visualizing the data. This is his first year working on the poll and he considers the perspectives that people provide invaluable to understanding the American voter. To him, democracy means ensuring that all people have equal access to the political process.
