Biography:
David Nevins is chairman of the board of the Bridge Alliance, a national nonprofit working to strengthen democracy by fostering civic engagement, trustworthy journalism, and governance reform. He is also publisher of The Fulcrum, a nonpartisan news platform focused on democracy, and president of Nevins Real Estate Management. A Penn State economics graduate (B.A., 1969), Nevins earned his M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business (1971). In 2014, he created the Nevins Fellows program, an initiative of the McCourtney Institute for Democracy that places students in high-level internships with organizations dedicated to democratic innovation and civic engagement.
