Biography:
Jeffrey Hyde retired after a distinguished career working with Pennsylvania government offices, including the Department of Revenue, Auditor General, and Treasury; top accounting firms such as Arthur Andersen & Co. and PricewaterhouseCoopers; and major corporations such as General Electric and IBM. A Penn State graduate (B.A. in prelaw/B.S. in education, 1977), he earned his J.D. from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law (1980) and his Master of Laws in Taxation from Temple University School of Law (1984). Hyde is a member emeritus of the Political Science Board of Visitors and a current member of the McCourtney Institute for Democracy and School of Public Policy Boards of Visitors. Beyond Penn State, he serves as treasurer on the board of the Penn State Federal Credit Union and is on the board of directors for The State Theatre. He and his wife, Sharon, a 1982 graduate of Dickinson School of Law, have two children.
